Bulk Material Handling,
Reinvented for the Future
Innovative systems designed to maximize throughput, reduce waste, and deliver unmatched reliability.
Introduction
In the complex world of industrial power generation, cement manufacturing, waste-to-energy facilities, and biomass plants, one challenge remains constant: the safe, efficient, and reliable movement of bulk solids. Whether it’s fine fly ash captured in a baghouse, hydrated lime for SO₂ neutralisation, gypsum from a flue gas desulfurisation unit, or granulated sorbents for dry scrubbing, the way these materials are transported determines operational efficiency, environmental compliance, and plant safety.
Cybertig’s Bulk Material Handling Systems are the result of years of design refinement, field experience, and a deep understanding of both ash transport and reagent handling in the context of flue gas treatment. We deliver complete, integrated solutions that move material seamlessly from collection or feed points to silos, dosing systems, truck loading bays, or further processing — all while minimising dust, controlling temperature, and ensuring consistent throughput.
Every system is engineered for harsh environments, where abrasive, high-temperature, or chemically reactive materials are handled continuously without compromising performance.
Applications across the industry

Biomass Powerplants
When it comes to biomass, flue gas cleaning systems are essential for cutting down emissions that include particulate matter and various gases, ensuring a greener energy production.

Hazardous Waste
Dealing with hazardous waste incineration, flue gas cleaning systems play a pivotal role in capturing acid gases and particulates, safeguarding the atmosphere from potential toxins.

Food and Beverage Industry
Flue gas cleaning systems in the food and beverage industry are all about maintaining product integrity, stripping away unwanted elements from the exhaust to guarantee safety and quality.

Powerplants
Powerplants rely on flue gas cleaning systems to meet strict environmental regulations, targeting a range of pollutants to keep our air clean.

Chemical Industry
The chemical industry benefits greatly from flue gas cleaning systems, which are designed to extract a variety of contaminants, aiding in both process optimization and environmental protection.

Glass Industry
In glass manufacturing, flue gas cleaning systems are the unsung heroes that tackle everything from dust to acid gases, ensuring cleaner production processes.
Design and System explained
Our approach starts with the material itself. No two bulk solids are identical: density, particle size, moisture, abrasiveness, and chemical behaviour can vary widely depending on source and process. These characteristics dictate the conveying method, wear protection strategy, filtration level, and automation logic. The handling of fine activated carbon in an emission control system is very different from moving sticky by-products from a semi-dry scrubber — and both demand tailored engineering to avoid blockages, prevent wear, and maintain performance.
Cybertig designs systems that can employ mechanical, pneumatic, or hybrid conveying. Mechanical screw or chain conveyors, often with Hardox wear liners, excel over short distances where simplicity and energy efficiency are priorities. For longer distances or complex routing, pneumatic conveying is preferred — either dense-phase, where material moves slowly at high pressure to reduce wear, or dilute-phase, where it travels at higher velocity for rapid transfer. Hybrid systems combine the strengths of both, optimising performance based on layout, material properties, and integration points.
Every installation is a complete, interconnected system. Bulk solids may be discharged from silos, hoppers, or baghouses via precision rotary valves to control flow and maintain system pressure. Venturi inlets or blow tanks then feed the material into pipelines powered by optimally sized roots blowers or compressors. Piping, in carbon steel or stainless steel, is selected for resistance to abrasion and heat, with carefully designed bends and expansion joints to ensure reliability and ease of maintenance.
Dust control is central to our philosophy. At discharge points, high-efficiency cyclones and jet-pulse filters remove particles down to 25 microns, with HEPA-grade filtration available where ultra-clean air is required. Collected solids are transferred to silos or bins fitted with level sensors, discharge valves, and dust-tight seals. Where hot materials are involved, components are rated up to 200°C as standard, with higher ratings available for special applications.
Automation completes the picture. Cybertig integrates PLC/SCADA control systems that manage conveying sequences, monitor blower pressure, motor loads, and filter performance, and enable predictive maintenance alerts to reduce unplanned downtime. This is not just bulk material handling — it is a fully monitored, process-integrated, and compliance-driven solution.
